Trip to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve in 5 Days: Nature, Culture, and Amazonian Adventure

Exploring the Amazon rainforest is much more than a trip: it is a direct connection with biodiversity, ancestral traditions, and the spirit of conservation. This five-day program offers the opportunity to discover the most impressive landscapes of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, navigating rivers such as the Marañón and Yanayacu-Pucate, walking through flooded forests, and sharing experiences with native communities committed to sustainability.

One of the most special moments of the trip is the visit to the 20 de Enero community, located within the reserve, where visitors learn about the responsible management of natural resources. Additionally, one night is spent camping deep in the jungle, a unique experience that allows you to live the Amazon from within.

Throughout the expedition, a variety of experiences are combined, such as traditional fishing, boat rides, ethnobotanical walks, and wildlife observation including pink dolphins, monkeys, birds, and sloths.

Important Note:

• Children from 0 to 11 years old receive a 20% discount. From 12 years old, the adult rate applies.
• It is recommended to take Lima/Iquitos flights that arrive before 9:00 a.m., and Iquitos/Lima flights that depart after 6:00 p.m.
• Check for additional transfer costs if arriving or departing outside those times.
• Lunch on the last day is included if the flight schedule allows. No refund applies if not taken.
• The ecolodge provides electricity from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (220v).
• The program may vary depending on weather and river conditions.
• During free time, children and teenagers can enjoy the interactive game “Rescue of Princess Amana”, with augmented reality.
