The greatest adventure of your life will start early in Cusco; at approximately 6:00 am, our private transport will pick you up from your hotel. From there, your journey to Manu National Park begins.
Along the way, you will be amazed by the beautiful Andean landscapes. After 1.5 hours, you will arrive at the archaeological site of Ninamarca, known as the “Chullpas of Ninamarca,” funerary towers from pre-Inca times. You will have the opportunity to explore these enigmatic ruins accompanied by our professional guide.
After this cultural stop, the trip continues to Paucartambo, considered the “Best Tourist Town in the World” by MT in 2023. You will stroll through its colonial architecture, learn about its traditions, and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Afterward, you will continue toward the entrance of Manu National Park.
From the park gate, you will begin a 40-minute journey to reach Acjanaco, a key point to discover Manu’s biodiversity and a place where chicha was once offered to the Apus. Here you must present your original passport for the mandatory registration.
Next, you will visit the viewpoint of the cloud forest, from which you can see the sacred mountain “Tres Cruces.” You will then continue to San Pedro, making brief stops to observe flora and fauna such as quetzals, toucans, oropendolas, and, with luck, the spectacled bear. In San Pedro, you will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our professional chef. In the afternoon, you will visit the viewpoint of the cock-of-the-rock, Peru’s national bird.
Around 5:00 pm, you will arrive at our eco-lodge, located in the middle of nature. There, you can relax in a comfortable room until dinner time.

The day will begin early in the morning. At the eco-lodge, you will enjoy a nutritious breakfast and have free time to pack your luggage before heading to the birdwatching viewpoint. Manu National Park offers a unique experience in the world since it is home to over 1000 bird species such as hummingbirds, macaws, among others. After this activity, you will head to Atalaya port.
Atalaya port is a natural dock on the upper Madre de Dios River. Preparation is essential here, so you will receive rubber boots, life jackets, and the necessary gear. You will then board a traditional Peruvian boat to sail along the river surrounded by Amazonian landscapes. After this adventure, our team will take you to a new eco-lodge where you can relax until lunchtime.
With renewed energy after a delicious lunch, you will head to Machuwasi Lake. To get there, you will sail along the river and then walk along a trail until you reach its pristine and calm waters. Here you will practice canoeing, always accompanied by our team, who will provide instructions, equipment, and safety.
While paddling, you will feel the excitement of canoeing as you approach areas inhabited by capybaras, camungos, and birds. After the experience, a short walk will take you to a watchtower, from where you will admire ancient trees, endemic species, and the vastness of the forest.
At the end of the day, you will return to the eco-lodge to enjoy a delicious dinner and prepare for the last adventure of the day: a night walk. On this jungle trek, you will be able to observe golden-eyed caimans and other species that only appear under the Amazon darkness.

The most colorful spectacle of the Amazon awaits you early in the morning. Around 5:00 am, our guide will take you to the Parrot Clay Lick. The boat trip lasts approximately 40 minutes, during which you will enjoy the arrival of parrots, parakeets, and, with luck, macaws. This moment is truly unforgettable.
Back at the eco-lodge you will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, you will take a guided walk along jungle trails where you will discover the majesty of the giant ceiba tree, learn about native medicinal plants, and observe wildlife native to this unique ecosystem.
At 2:00 pm you will return to the eco-lodge for lunch. Our specialized chef in Amazonian cuisine will delight you with irresistible dishes prepared with local ingredients.
In the afternoon, the adventure continues with traditional piranha fishing. While practicing this activity, you will enjoy one of the most stunning sunsets in the jungle. At nightfall, you will return to the eco-lodge for dinner. If you still have energy, you can join a night walk before resting.

The day will begin with the sounds of the jungle: birds, leaves, and the living nature will welcome you to your last morning in the Amazon. You will enjoy your last breakfast at the eco-lodge and pack your belongings for the return to the imperial city of Cusco.
Our team will kindly accompany you along the return route. You will navigate once again along the Amazon River, saying goodbye to the jungle landscapes with your heart full of unforgettable memories, until you reach the Atalaya pier. There, our private transport and professional driver will be waiting to safely take you back to Cusco.
On the way, you will stop at Acjanaco to enjoy lunch before continuing the journey to the capital of the Inca Empire. Arrival in Cusco will be approximately at 6:00 pm, where our driver will take you directly to your hotel or the airport, as planned.

Posted on Tripadvisor Caroline MayhewVerified True immersive Amazon experience I so enjoyed the Iquitos 3 day tour into the Amazon and I would highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived at the airport to the time we were dropped back for our departing flight, we were looked after brilliantly. Jorge/George, our wonderful and highly experienced guide, taught us so much about this remarkable region and gave us a fascinating insight into this extraordinary part of the world. We saw a wide variety of wildlife including sloths, tree bats, tarantulas (not too close!), dolphins, so many different types of birds...the list goes on and on. Jose and his family own and run the Yanayacu Lodge, and gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. It is basic lodging so if air con and crisp white sheets are your thing, perhaps this isn't for you. However, if you're after a true immersive Amazon experience for a few days with an excellent guide whilst staying with a lovely family, this is the one! Posted on Tripadvisor NataliaVerified Buena experiencia Excelente agencia. Posted on Tripadvisor Riku LVerified Lovely trip to jungle Exellecent experience! Posted on Tripadvisor Paradise63046115859Verified Beautiful Experience Loved it. Jimi was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable. We hit Pisaq, which was my favorite, Ollantaytambo & those ruins were amazing. It was my birthday & at lunch they had the restaurant make it a whole thing, which was sweet. We also hit the salt mines, & lots of other places, too many to remember. Overall great experiencePosted on Tripadvisor Jules MVerified Do it!! I did a 4 day trip and I think if it’s your first time visiting the jungle it’s a perfect one to do, we were happy with how everything turned out!! We got to see all the animals we were hoping, the tour was very organized, amazing home cooked food and the employees were all great! Our guide Raul was very educational and made my friend and I love the trip. We went hiking for a bit, bird watching, fishing, and wooden rafting It was so much fun. comfy accommodation!
Posted on Google WeltenbummlerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Klare Empfehlung!Posted on Google Alice BuchananTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great trip to the Manu Reserve Zone. Lots of fantastic wildlife seen including Caimen, Monkeys, Snakes and lots of birds. Thank you to the team for making it a fantastic experience with great food.Posted on Google Nerea PilotTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Google Alberto AlvaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Google ChrisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an excellent experience with Peru Jungle Trips! I was in Cusco and wanted to visit the jungle originally thinking Tambopata, overwhelmed with options. My desire was to visit the Amazon and be deep in the jungle with few people. I walked into the office and met Pedro who talked with me for over half an hour explaining different options. Ultimately, Pedro told me that Manu National Park is the place to be in the jungle with few people. Pedro helped me book a 6 day tour in Manu National Park 2 days later. It is hard to describe how special Manu national park was. The trees, the wildlife, the river, seeing uncontacted Natives, and hearing all of the jungle sounds. I would not have experienced Manu National Park without Pedro and Peru Jungle Trips. I highly recommend this business! Also thank you Celia for your kindness and the Poncho :)Posted on Google Ravi BoddapatiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Pedro recommended the tour to Machu Picchu via Hydroelectrica route understanding my preference to hike whenever possible. He listened to my questions and came up with the appropriate advice. Not only that, Pedro is very knowledgeable of Inca history and relevant places of interest around Cusco. Thanks to Pedro - I was able to visit Saqsaywaman, Temple of the Moon and Kusilluchayoc!Posted on Google Arturo PérezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
